What is the NDSS?
The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) is an initiative of the Australia Government administered by Diabetes Australia. The NDSS delivers diabetes-related products at subsidised prices and provides information and support services to people with diabetes. Registration is free and open to all Australians diagnosed with diabetes.
The NDSS web site can be found online at www.ndss.com.au
Diabetes Tasmania is the Tasmanian Agent for the NDSS. We have appointed Access Points throughout the state to help you access services.
NDSS Access Points distribute NDSS products and provide some services. NDSS Access Points are your local pharmacy, health centre and Hospital. You can purchase NDSS products, lodge your registration form, and receive advice on Diabetes at NDSS Access Points. Other health services can also become NDSS Access Points.
